Ray Young
Founder and President of Matrix Ministries
After a 28-year career with EDS, Ray was part of a corporate downsizing that stopped him in his tracks. It caused him to take stock of his life and ask what God might have him do next. His passion for missions and desire for others to experience God’s abundance through serving led him to create the non-profit organization now called Matrix Ministries.Ray has led and participated on 35+ mission teams to 11 countries.
Cate Rader
Communication Director and Costa Rica Mission Coordinator
Cate will be the first to tell you that if she can go on a mission trip anyone can. In 2010 she took her first trip out of the US to Costa Rica, praying that God would do something to break her heart for people’s needs and show her how He might use her in a way that was beyond her own efforts. Her life-changing experience quickly turned into a passion for missions in Costa Rica. She serves as the Costa Rica Missions Coordinator for Matrix and assists with communications.
Lyn Cook
Haiti Missions Coordinator
Lyn is a Tennessee country girl and is no stranger to hard work. She is the mother of 4 children and juggles home schooling with maintaining a small farm and various volunteer endeavors. Lyn is involved in ongoing missions in both Thailand and Haiti and serves as Matrix Ministries trip coordinator for Haiti.
