- Matrix Ministries connects individuals, groups, church and organizations to serving opportunities that meet tangible and spiritual needs both locally and globally.
- We organize and lead short-term mission trips with the goal of serving the needy and helping participants realize the impact they can have.
- Our global emphasis is providing food, clean water, shelter and clothing for orphans and supporting the efforts of local churches to spread the good news of Jesus Christ.
- We offer consulting & training to churches and businesses that desire to establish community involvement or ongoing mission partnerships.
How we got our name
In the movie, The Matrix, humans are living in a simulated, but convincing reality that has become the societal norm. Neo & Morpheus are on a mission to alert the human race to their enslavement and open their eyes to the possibilities of a better life.
As American’s we enjoy freedoms and prosperity like nowhere else on earth. Few of us see the poverty and need that is daily struggle around much of the world. It’s easy for us to get caught up our own little “matrix” of comfort and prosperity. But in doing so, we miss out on a more abundant life that is possible through following God’s direction and serving others. While participating on a Matrix Team you’ll have the opportunity to step out of the matrix and gain a new perspective.
Our desire for participants

Our goal is that those who serve on a Matrix Team will strengthen their relationship with the Lord and discover the abundant life that God promises us when we follow His call. We encourage participants to step out of their comfort zone and see how God can use them in new and exciting ways. The result can be life changing.
