Team Projects:
- Took clothing donations for children
- Painted bedrooms in one of the homes & exterior addition to another home, varnished woodwork
- Built a large concrete floored workshop for ongoing maintenance needs
- Provided morning music and afternoon craft and game time for the children
- Took children swimming, which is a huge task for the Tia’s (house moms) without helpers
- Completed “The Hole In Our Gospel” and 40 Day Quest as a team study
Team Excursion Day
- Took a day trip to Jaco Beach and Canopy Zipline Tour
Future Plans
- Committed to building a Youth Center with Iglesia Biblica, the local church in Atenas. Teens have no place to go except the local park. Teen pregnancy and drinking are issues and Pastor Oldemar has great vision for bringing the community into the church through this building.
